ALTUGLAS INTERNATIONALSHEET PRODUCTS:
ANY LOAD-BEARING APPLICATIONS

Altuglas International frequently receives calls requesting information on the use of our products for "flooring” applications.

Altuglas International does not recommend the use of any of its sheet products for any load bearing applications, including dance floors, stages, furniture, marine docks and balcony/stair railing. None of the sheet products Altuglas International manufactures, Tuffak® polycarbonate sheet and Plexiglas® acrylic sheet , are load bearing materials. Such applications are considered "mis-use" applications.
